We are pleased to welcome Robert Lewis as our invited artist for the Artist in Residence 2025 program.

Based in Canada, Lewis previously taught at the Toyama City Institute of Glass Art from 2005 to 2009 and has continued to explore the expressive possibilities of glass through his unique creative practice.

As part of his residency, Lewis will present a public lecture, produce new works at the Toyama Glass Studio, and showcase the results in an exhibition at the Toyama Glass Art Museum. We are also planning school visits and public demonstrations during his stay.
